Evolution of Mobile Phones

First mobile phones were large, battery operated, limited in size and speed, required customers to possess both a home phone line and a separate landline service (which can sometimes be a pain), and generally just looked like a big black box ... The modern age of cellular technology has changed all that. Gone are the days of colossal, clumsy devices that demanded dozens of bills to even make a call. Now, cellular phones are sleek, slim, stylish, technologically advanced pieces of equipment that are as user friendly as they are enticing.

One of the most recent additions to these glossy beauties is the android functioning system. Android phones are generally more expensive than other versions, but they are also usually higher performing, feature packed and loaded with features which make them easy to use and appealing to users. They come pre-installed with many of the most popular music and movie players, such as Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, and LG. And of course all the popular cellular service providers, such as AT&T, Verizon, Dsl, and many more.

Since that time there have been a number of revolutionary phones released on the market, all of them promising something that others hadn't yet attempted or couldn't: becoming an instant hit. The Blackberry paved the way for its debut of the first smart phone and immediately set the standard for how smart phones would be for a long time to come.

The Blackberry was followed with the iPhone and the iPod. Between the first cell phone and the first iPod it appears that people simply do not want to be left behind. Apple recently announced it will be introducing four new devices which will be launched during the summer. These four devices include the iPad, the iPod touch, the iPhone 3G, and also the most up-to-date and best merchandise yet, the iPad mini.

One of the newest gadgets that Apple has brought out to the market is the iPod Touch. The iPod Touch is a very small and easy mobile phone that's packed full of features and capabilities. It's capable of playing audio, video, podcasts, and many different kinds of media documents, as well as providing the ability to surf the internet via it. Among the most exciting attributes of the iPod touch is the capability to play games on it.

The popularity of smartphone technology has improved so much over the last ten years or so that it is now feasible to locate the typical American with one through their leisure time. With millions of individuals being added to the cellular phone proprietor database every day the sky is the limit when it comes to exactly what an individual may design. We are also seeing revolutionary new ways that users can interact with their devices. Evolution of Mobile Phones is constant evolutions in technology and it doesn't look like any of those new devices coming onto the market will be fulfilled with any less than dramatic success. It's interesting to understand how this exciting sector develops and evolves over the next several years.
